How to effectively clean your food, as well as how to tell quickly if its conventional, GMO or organic.

We we buy our foods it is coated in waxes, pesticides and all sorts of nastiness… not to mention all the different people that have touched it, bugs that have crawled on it and don’t other natural things on it… If you are unable to grown your own food, then I suggest cleaning it, and this tip work great. 

Another quick pointer when it comes to buying fruits/veggies/berries etc. You can tell if its Organic or not by the SCU or the little number by the barcode.

If the number on the label starts with a 4, it is conventionally grown, so it would use all the modern fertilizers and pesticides ect.  

If the number starts with an 8 and most likely 5 digits long, its Genetically modified.

If the number starts with a 9 and is most likely 5 digits long, its Organic. This is the one you should be reaching for, if they are available in the stores you shop at.
